Split the rent by room
A bigger bedroom with its own bath is worth more than the room down the hall. Set what each room has and see a fair share for each person.
How we split it
One part of the rent covers what everyone shares: the kitchen, the living room, the balcony and the building. That part is split evenly.
The other part follows private space. Each bedroom gets points for its square feet, plus extra for a private bath, a walk in closet and its own door to the balcony. Each person pays that part by their share of the points.
The slider sets how much of the rent follows private space; everyone shares the rest equally. Parking goes to whoever uses each space. Pet rent isn't part of this split, so add it to the pet owner's share.
