Skyline at Kessler is a renovated 1964 tower on a hill in Kessler Park, Oak Cliff. Upper floors see downtown, and the grounds are bigger than any downtown tower's. Reviews are split hard. Since 2025 there's been a wave of 5 star notes about the leasing team. Residents, though, write about break ins, gates that stay open, leaks, roaches and elevators.

In 2026 residents wrote that the front gate stays open overnight and cameras don't work. They say there's often no one at the security booth, and cars get broken into or stolen. A May 2026 reviewer called the garage very dark.
Since spring 2026 the Google listing has filled with short 5 star reviews naming the leasing staff, many posted the same day. Two 2026 reviewers wrote that the office offers rent discounts, prizes or treats for good reviews. ApartmentRatings flags one review as written for a reward.
This is a 1964 tower. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 mention leaks, the air conditioning going out, roaches and elevators down. One resident counted only two elevators working at a time.
The street scores 74 out of 100 (higher is quieter), mostly from traffic. Most reviews call the hill quiet. Some residents wrote about loud neighbors, the pool area late at night and a fire alarm going off for no reason.

They are boiler management $13.75, doorstep trash $27, package service $10, pest control $7, a $3 trash admin fee, a $1 gas admin fee and a $1.38 stormwater admin fee. Electric, gas, water and sewer, stormwater and shared trash hauling are billed by use, and renters insurance is required. To apply, it's $75 per applicant, a $150 admin fee, a $50 amenity fee and $25 for an access device. The deposit is $500 and can change with screening.
Yes. The FAQ page says there's free parking plus paid reserved spaces, and the calculator lists covered parking at $20 a month. A resident wrote in May 2026 that the garage is very dark, and others wrote about car break ins in 2025 and 2026.
The property lists laundry rooms on every floor rather than washers and dryers in each home. A few reviews mention a washer in their home, so we check the exact home before you lease.
Reviews are mixed. Some residents like the gated grounds. Others wrote in 2026 that the gate has stayed open overnight for a year and the cameras and front door don't work. Greystar has managed it since late 2024. Westmount Realty Capital bought the tower in 2019, when it was The View at Kessler Park. It renamed the tower and renovated the homes, lobby, gym and pool, with Avenue5 managing at first. Before that it was the Wedglea. Reviews from The View years were mostly 1 star. Since 2025 most are 5 stars, though some reviewers say the office rewards good reviews.
