    Is it right for you?

The Galatyn is a 2025 StreetLights tower about 12 minutes on foot from Knox Street with only 56 two and three bedroom homes, each with a service kitchen and a deep terrace. Valet parking, concierge and every amenity come with the lease. On October 31, 2026 the listed homes ran from $18,600 for a 2,559 square foot two bedroom to $23,500 for a three bedroom. Those were the highest rents of the 75 towers we track that day. It's new, so there are almost no reviews yet.

    A good fit if

    • You want a home the size of a house: two and three bedroom plans averaging about 2,700 sq ft, with 12 foot deep terraces
    • You want few neighbors: three homes per floor
    • You want valet and concierge included: the property lists no amenity fee

    Maybe not if

    • You want to park your own car: parking here is valet only
    • You want a short lease: standard terms run 18 to 24 months
    • You want a building with a track record: it opened in 2025 and has two Google reviews

      A new building

It opened in 2025 and has two Google reviews, so there's no record yet on management or repairs. StreetLights runs The McKenzie a block away, which has six years of reviews, and that's the closest thing to a track record you'll get.

      Noise: busy

The street scores 64 out of 100 (higher is quieter), mostly from traffic. North Central Expressway runs just east of the building, so traffic noise is likely on that side.

      Flood risk: low

FEMA puts this address outside its high risk flood area. Renters insurance doesn't cover floods, cars in the garage included.

Questions people ask about The Galatyn

What fees come on top of rent?

The property says there's no amenity fee: valet, concierge, the gym and the pool come with the lease. Utilities are billed separately. Its fee list shows trash ($35), pest control ($4) and a $50 utility connection charge as optional monthly items, so we ask which apply. To apply, it's $100 per applicant, a $1,100 admin fee and a deposit of half a month's rent ($5,000 to $17,500 by plan).

      How does parking work?

Parking is valet only, in an underground garage, and it's included with the lease. Guests can use the valet too, and there's EV charging in the garage.

      How big are the homes?

There are 56 homes, two and three bedrooms plus two penthouses, averaging about 2,700 sq ft. Each has a service kitchen with an extra refrigerator, sink and dishwasher, and a 12 foot deep terrace. There are only three homes per floor.

      How long is the lease?

Standard leases run 18 to 24 months, the property says. We haven't seen a 12 month term written down. If you need a shorter lease, we ask the office for you before you tour.

      Does The Galatyn allow pets?

Yes. The fee list shows $100 a month pet rent, a $1,000 deposit and a $1,000 fee, and some breed and weight limits apply. There's a pet spa and a pet relief balcony on each floor.

      How do tours work?
