Height here doesn't set the price as much as you'd expect. The same plan can cost more on a lower floor than a higher one, so compare homes, not plans.
27 available homes, November 4, 2026. Lowest rent on a 12 to 15 month lease, before the special.
Every home here pays $28 a month in fees on top of rent. Totals are for the lowest priced home of each size.
On top of that: renters insurance, plus utilities. Utility bills depend on how much you use.
FAQ: renters insurance with at least $100,000 personal liability is required; without proof, the FAQ says residents are enrolled in the property's own insurance policy with "a recurring monthly lease charge" (amount not published).
From the property's own fee table: the property's fee page, read October 30, 2026.

We take a special off only when it reaches this home on this lease, spread by the day the way most leasing offices do. A cost the building posts no amount for shows as not posted, never as $0. Electric and water are billed by use, so they sit outside this number. Full cost calculator

Solid line: half the available homes of that size ask less, half ask more. Dashed line: the cheapest one, the number the cost box above starts from. Read from the tower's own listings every day since October 31, 2026 (4 days so far). Open any home to see its own price record.
Same 2 bedroom floor plan, one floor higher: about $16 more a month. Floor 5 to floor 17 adds up to about $192.
9 available homes from floor 5 to 17, each against the middle of its own floor plan, from −$225 to +$190.
Based on 9 available homes in 2 floor plans, each compared only with homes of its own plan, so size never passes for height. Asking rents as of November 4, 2026.
The Case Building has loft style homes in the middle of Deep Ellum: exposed brick, 10 foot ceilings and a patio on every home. There's a residents' bar in the lobby. On October 31, 2026, studios started at $1,156, the second cheapest studio of the 75 towers we track. Residents praise the staff and the location. The long running complaints are slow or broken elevators, weekend and ambulance noise, and car break ins in and around the garage, and a June 2026 resident says the elevators still aren't fixed.
Every written review we found on Google.
“Secure parking garage and walking distance to so many places.”
“The units have amazing views and the front office/maintenance people are always so attentive and helpful.”
“There is often only one working and management doesn't care to fix the middle one.”

FEMA puts this address outside its high risk flood area. Renters insurance doesn't cover floods, cars in the garage included.

Westdale developed it with StreetLights Residential and has managed it since it opened in December 2017. WDG Architecture designed the 17 floor tower, which has 337 homes wrapped around a 462 car garage. We found no sale or change in management.
The fee table the community gives Apartments.com, read October 30, 2026, lists trash at $25 and pest control at $3 a month. Renters insurance with $100,000 of liability coverage is required, or you're put on the building's policy for a monthly charge. Applying costs $85 per applicant plus a $100 admin fee, and the deposit varies by home.
Everyone parks in the gated garage inside the building. Spaces are first come, first served, and a reserved space costs $75 a month. Visitors park on the first level and register online. Register your own car on the permit site the day you move in. Reviews from 2022 and 2024 mention residents' cars towed when they hadn't.
They come up often. In 2023 residents wrote about 10 to 15 minute waits with only one of three elevators working. A June 2026 resident says outages still haven't been fixed for good. Ask us and we'll check how they're running before you tour.
It's Deep Ellum, so weekends are busy. Residents mention bar crowds, street racing and ambulances on the way to Baylor. One resident said the building keeps out enough sound that street noise is hard to hear. If noise worries you, ask for a higher floor on the side away from Main Street, and tour on a Friday or Saturday night so you hear the block at its loudest.
Yes, up to two pets with breed restrictions. The site lists a $375 pet fee and a $150 pet deposit per pet, plus $25 a month pet rent. There's a private dog park and a dog wash in the building.
